Responsibilities:
-Prepare and cook a variety of grilled items according to menu specifications and customer preferences.
-Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station and surrounding kitchen areas.
-Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to management.
-Assist in meal preparation for catering and banquet events as required.
-Provide exceptional service by plating dishes attractively and ensuring timely delivery to the dining area.
-Uphold high standards of quality in food presentation and taste.
Requirements:
-Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or fine dining setting, with specific experience in grilling preferred.
-Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
-Experience in menu planning and meal preparation is highly desirable.
-Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking methods.
-Background in the food industry, including dietary department or dietary aide experience, is a plus.
-Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
