We’re a locally owned steakhouse with a loyal community following, scratch-made food, a beautiful location, and a team that treats each other like family. We’re looking for a Lead Cook who’s ready to step in, take charge, and help us continue leveling up our kitchen systems and consistency.
What You’ll Be Doing (Job Responsibilities)
Lead the line during service with confidence, speed, and accuracy
Prepare and execute high-quality dishes including steaks, burgers, pastas, and house-made specials
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked station — before, during, & after service
Assist with prep list creation, rotation, labeling, and proper storage
Communicate clearly with the kitchen team and FOH to keep ticket times on track
Follow recipes, portioning, and plating standards to ensure consistency
Help train and guide newer cooks with a positive, supportive attitude
Uphold food safety, sanitation, and kitchen cleanliness standards
Work with ownership on improving systems, reducing waste, and controlling food costs
Work on our busy nights and help set the tone for a smooth service
Support our culture of teamwork, accountability, and a “we’ve got this” attitude
Who You Are
A skilled cook with 2+ years of line cooking experience (steakhouse experience a HUGE bonus)
Strong on grill, sauté, or both
Calm under pressure and able to lead by example
Reliable, professional, and takes pride in doing things the right way
Able to multitask, communicate, and keep the kitchen flowing
Enjoy being part of a team that works hard and has fun
Willing to help create a positive, drama-free, productive kitchen
