Part-Time Restaurant Worker – Simm Oriental Cuisine

Hours: Part-time (approx. 30 hours per week), weekends and evenings required

Positions Needed
We’re looking for workers to join our front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) teams. This role is ideal for students or professionals seeking flexible hours. You’ll contribute to smooth service, guest satisfaction, and a positive dining atmosphere.
Key responsibilities
Front of House (Server/Host)
Greet guests warmly and seat them promptly
Present menus, answer questions, and make recommendations
Take accurate order details and relay to the kitchen
Serve food and drinks, check in with guests, and manage course timing
Handle guest needs, allergies, and dietary requests with care
Ensure table cleanliness, reset tables between parties, and maintain dining area ambiance
Process payments, handle POS transactions, and provide accurate receipts
Uphold brand standards, safety, and courtesy in all guest interactions
Back of House (Kitchen Cook/Prep)
Experienced cook position available with flexible part-time schedule
Assist kitchen staff with dish prep and basic food prep tasks
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
Follow food safety and hygiene standards; report any safety hazards
Support inventory and stock replenishment as needed
What we’re looking for
Availability to work a flexible schedule
Excellent communication (Speak Thai or English) with and a friendly, guest-first attitude
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while staying calm and professional
Basic math skills for handling payments and POS use
Strong teamwork, reliability, and initiative
Previous restaurant experience is a plus but not required
Basic Thai language knowledge is a plus; English communication is helpful
Qualifications
Physical ability to lift up to 20 kg, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks
Willingness to follow health, safety, and hygiene standards
Courteous demeanor and professional appearance
