Professional Chef for Weekly Meal Prep

We are a startup platform that connects professional chefs with clients for personalized, in-home meal prep services. We are currently seeking a professional chef who is available at least 2 days per week (days may vary).

We’ll find the clients, arrange bookings (that work for your schedule), handle menus/recipes/shopping lists as needed … you just show up and cook! You will also play a role in helping us refine our processes and client experience by giving your feedback about the bookings. Important

This is NOT a full-time (or even part-time) position to start. This is presently only suitable for a chef looking for supplemental income - though we hope for it to quickly grow into the option of full time work!

Position Details:

Flexible schedule with availability needed for at least 2 days/week (in 3-hour blocks) between 9 am and 6 pm.

Compensation of $40/hour for our test clients to start; you will set your rate for future clients

Paid trial sessions will be scheduled to ensure a good fit

Requirements:

Professional experience

Ability to plan and prepare multiple dishes efficiently within the given time frame

Reliable transportation and ability to arrive punctually, neatly dressed, and professionally groomed.

Strong skills in recipe adaptation and improvisation based on available ingredients and client preferences.

Consistent, high-quality execution of dishes, meeting clients’ expectations

Proper food storage and labeling, ensuring all dishes are safely stored

Clean-up after cooking, including wiping down surfaces and cleaning dishes or loading the dishwasher.
