I am seeking a part-time caregiver for my 92 years old mother. My mother has other caregivers but I am looking for a person for the Wednesday 9am-1pm (4 hours) shift, and if you are available, to cover other shifts when her caregivers are on vacation, sick, etc. This could also work into additional shifts.
My mother has excellent mental acuity, articulates well, and is able to walk with her walker around the house. The position includes helping my mother get dressed, cooking/preparing meals, light cleaning, etc. This is a very active position not sitting and talking or playing games, etc.
This position also includes taking care of my 9 weeks old golden retriever puppy. This can require lifting, cleaning, patience and love for dogs.
Possibly this position can be coupled with other cleaning work for more shifts.
I am not affiliated with a caregiver service. This position requires a background check, drug test and references. References will be checked and prior employers will be contacted. I am particular about who helps my mother, puppy and works in my home; however, my mother's caregivers say they enjoy their work.
