Need to be experienced with feeding, incontinence care, wound care, meal preparation, medication administration, personal lift or be willing to be trained on these skills.
We care for maximum 6 residents. We provide quality care to our residents with dignity, respect and compassion.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
-Basic Training: WA State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Care Aid (HCA)
-Specialty Training: Dementia and Mental Health
-Nurse Delegation: Core Nurse Delegation
-First Aid / CPR (online classes not accepted)
-Washington State Food Handlers Card
-Continuing Education: 12 hours of approved continuing education courses annually, due prior to your birthday each year.

JOB DESCRIPTION/SKILLS
- showering, toileting, ambulating/ transferring
-laundry, housekeeping
-Meal Preparation, serving and feeding as needed
-Medication Set-up/administration/Monitoring
-Engaging residents in activities
-Communicating effectively with families, doctor's office, pharmacy
- must have 2 letters of recommendation
EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
-Must pass a criminal background check to include a Name and Date of Birth and Fingerprint Check
- Must pass a Tuberculosis screening
- Must have a valid Drivers License
- Must be 21 years or older
- Must speak, read and write English sufficiently in order to communicate effectively with others both inside and outside of the home (i.e. residents, visitors, medical professionals, adult family home care team, etc.)
