Caregiver Wanted: Provide Compassionate Support to Ventilator-Dependent Individual in AFH
Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced caregiver to provide dedicated support to a ventilator-dependent individual in AFH. The caregiver will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of our Residents who relies on all ADL's.
Responsibilities:
Provide skilled care and support for an individual requiring ventilator assistance in AFH.
Monitor and maintain the ventilator equipment, including troubleshooting and responding to alarms.
Assist with tracheostomy care, suctioning, and other respiratory treatments as directed by healthcare professionals.
Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and documentation.
Perform activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, while ensuring infection control measures are followed.
Maintain records of care provided and communicate effectively with healthcare team members.
Remain alert and responsive to any changes in the individual's condition, reporting concerns promptly to the appropriate authorities.
Qualifications:
Previous experience working with ventilator-dependent individuals in a home care setting preferred but not required as we will provide training . a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Preferred but not required as we will provide training.
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to caregiving.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
CPR and First Aid certification required.
Must pass background check and provide references
