Join a trusted adult family home in Salmon Creek/Vancouver,WA where residents receive high quality care in a warm, homelike setting. We’re hiring a live-in caregiver and in this role, you’ll have the support of an experienced team and the stability of a comfortable, private living space.
Position Details:
Schedule: Live-in, typically 4 days on / 3 days off per week (flexible — more or fewer days available)
Compensation: $3,300–$5,000/month (based on experience and number of days off; salary increase after 7 months)
Shifts: Includes night care as part of regular duties
Private living space/apartment provided, including:
2 bedrooms
Living room & kitchenette
2 bathrooms
Supportive work environment with positive references from current and former staff
Responsibilities:
Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, hygiene)
Prepare meals for residents
Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe, clean environment
Monitor and record vital signs, food/fluid intake, and weight
Complete all required documentation accurately and on time
Communicate effectively with staff and maintain a team-oriented approach
Carry out other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Current WA State CNA or HCA license
Prior caregiving experience
Valid TB test (2-step or chest X-ray)
Current CPR and First Aid certification
Nurse Delegation certificate (with diabetes focus)
Valid Social Security Number
Able to pass a background check
Able to speak, read, and follow instructions in English
