Abundant Valley ACH
This is a full time position. Position will open as early as end of June and or start of July.
This is an adult care home with a maximum of 5 residents 65 and older at anytime.
Please only apply if you already have trainings required by the ACHP completed or have started earning those credentials.
Responsibilities
-
Help clients take prescribed medication
Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house
Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
Perform light housekeeping duties
Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
Must be able to lift 50 pounds and be willing to transfer/reposition residents.
Skills
-
Must be 21 yrs or older.
Proven experience as a caregiver (willing to train the right person though)
Able to read and write in English
Able to pass a background check
Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR)
Respectful and compassionate
Good time management skills
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
High school diploma or equivalent
Has Multnomah County adult care home program caregiver trainings or willing to get them.
