Position Overview: Cascadia Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our primary care team. This full-time position, located at one of our outpatient Health Centers in [Location], offers a balanced and supportive work environment. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

Appointments are typically 20 minutes for established clients and 40 minutes for new clients, allowing for thorough and attentive care.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure efficient patient flow and maintain safety standards

Prepare examination rooms, sterilize instruments, and manage supplies

Assist providers in examining and treating patients

Record patient information and maintain accurate EMR records

Perform diagnostic procedures and administer tests

Support trauma-informed care practices and compliance efforts

Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent

Certified as a Medical Assistant from an accredited organization (NCCT, CCMA or AAMA)

Two years of relevant medical clinic experience preferred

Experience with Epic EHR strongly preferred

Ability to work with individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges

Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills
