We are a non-profit facility, assisting adults in the IDD community. Our job is to encourage independence and have fun! DSP are in charge of sanitary checks and changes, assisting in feeding and daily note taking.
● Provide general care and support such as changing and restroom, feeding/hydration support, managing items and client funds, feeding, and hydrating.
● Completing all expected daily documentation: Communication Log and ISP goal/action goals.
● Report pertinent information to their supervisor and medical supervisor in the instance of a medical concern.
● Completion of incident reports as directed by the Group Supervisor and Medical Supervisor.
● Ability to lift clients weighing up to 120 lbs. with assistance from another staff or 60 lbs. independently.
● Ability to stand and walk for extended periods to meet the facility's needs.
● Partake in all scheduled outings with clients. (shopping, restaurants, park, gardens)
● Attend all scheduled group meetings and all staff meetings.
● Provide and oversee group activities with clients.
Starting wage $20.00
BENEFITS:
-Work Monday-Friday only
-Shifts start either 8am or 9am
-Shift ends between 3pm-4pm (get to spend the evening at home!)
