We are seeking an exceptional Dental Hygienist to represent our office two days a week Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday 8-5pm. You must be a wellness-minded individual with excellent verbal communication skills who is able to authentically interact with people with absolute sincerity and confidence in the naturopathic, holistic and biological qualities patients have sought out our office. Our patients are referred directly by integrative medical doctors and naturopaths from across the country, so knowledge of nutrition is necessary. Ideal candidate must possess confident ability to convey periodontal disease related issues to patient.
Job Description:
Patient education of oral hygiene instruction and other dental related areas
Perform electronic charting in Eaglesoftware on patient’s needs, presenting problem, medical and dental history, perio and tooth charting, review social and health history
Review treatment recommendations with patients
Capture diagnostic quality digital bitewing, periapical and panoramic radiographs
Record oral conditions and findings in digital charts, update tooth chart, work needed to be done, procedures performed and recommendations needed for the patient
Capture intraoral camera tour of patient’s mouth
Administer injections for local anesthesia
Respond with cover letter and resume
Starting pay: $50/hour
