Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Patient Communications & Insurance Coordinator to join our team. This full-time, in-person position (36-40 hours per week) is crucial as the primary point of contact for our patients, embodying the "face" of our practice. We are seeking someone who is friendly, kind, empathetic and has exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
∙ Manage patient communications via phone, text and email
∙ Verify insurance coverage and eligibility for patients
∙ Schedule appointments and help maintain a productive schedule
∙ Collect payments and make financial arrangements
∙ Assist with insurance claim processing
∙ Other administrative duties as assigned to keep our office running smoothly
Qualifications:
∙ 2+ years of healthcare experience required (dental specific experience strongly preferred)
∙ Familiarity with dental terminology and dental insurance verification
∙ Proven ability to establish rapport with patients
∙ Knowledge of applicable HIPAA and OSHA guidelines
∙ Stellar organization skills and ability to multi-task
Compensation:
Pay is negotiable and dependent on dental-specific experience. Our target is between $22– $26 per hour. Benefits available after obligatory waiting periods include:

About our location:
Our office is in the Plaza of the US Bancorp Tower (Big Pink). Excellent access via transit (bus and Max stop just outside our doors). The building has many amenities for tenants such as 24/7 onsite security, secure parking, bike parking, private gym, showers, onsite food and convenience store, and monthly happy hours.
