OUR PRACTICE: Our pediatric dental office in St. Helens is looking for a dental assistant, preferably with pediatric experience.

Our board certified pediatric dentist and our amazing team does everything we can to make our patients happy and comfortable and provide a happy and positive experience for the children which we hope will create a lifetime of great dental health.
DAYS AND HOURS: Monday through Thursday, approximately 30 hours per week.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND JOB SKILLS:
Assist the dentist chairside
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
Take and develop dental x-rays
Perform patient assessment
Provide patient education
Maintain infection control protocols and adhere to HIPAA regulations
Practice aseptic technique to prevent the spread of infection
XRAY CERTIFICATION IS A MUST. Some assisting experience is ideal
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work well in a team environment and be a great team player
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
