Great Grins for Kids Pediatric Dentistry is looking for a fun and energetic Dental Assistant that has a desire to grow with our two pediatric dental practices. Candidates must be professional, outgoing, well-organized, reliable, team-oriented and must absolutely love working with kids! We have two locations: Oregon City and SE Portland. Candidates must be willing to work at both offices if needed.
Our ideal person is EFDA certified, but we will train new grads and experienced assistants who have not yet earned their EFDA certification. You must have an Oregon X-ray certification. Experience in a pediatric dental office is a plus, but not required. Candidates will have amazing time management skills, problem-solving skills, communication skills and a commitment to partnering with all team members to ensure an outstanding patient experience.
You will be chairside with the dentist during treatment, help with sterile, turning rooms, and coronal polishing. Follow all HIPAA and OSHA guidelines.
DAYS AND HOURS: We have a full-time position available at our Oregon City location. You will be able to work up to 40 hours per week, but not less than 32 hours per week. You and the Practice Manager can discuss your ideal schedule in your interview. We see patients Monday-Friday. Our hours are 7am-5pm.
