Assistant Grower Job Description:
Job Title: Assistant Grower
Reports to: Manager
Job Purpose: The general nature of this position is to maintain the ecosystem of indoor/outdoor gardening and the surrounding property. Must have a valid OLCC workers permit. We are located in Mulino/Beavercreek Area which is about 40 minutes outside of Portland
Duties and Responsibilities:
-Cloning
-Transplanting
-Pruning/Weeding
-Cleaning
-Maintenance Checklist
-Closing checklist
-Harvesting/Maintaining 3 day turn around
-HVAC maintenance
-Foliar feeding
-Pest control - spraying and fogger
-Releasing predators
-Assisting with various projects associated with gardening and building projects
-Debriefing or working with maintenance team, harvest team, trim team
-Operate timers for lights, water pumps, and other equipment
-Assist in checking on trim team, setting up, or organizing material associated with trimming, bucking, or any post-production
-Assign plant tags before the plants reach 36 inches.
-Maintain Google Docs grow journal
-Outdoor property clean up - cutting, clearing, burning brush
Physical Requirements:
The grower should be physically performing the work associated with all stages of indoor gardening and be able to lift 40lbs
Direct Reports:
Temp. help, harvest team, trim team
Work Schedule:
All duties and responsibilities must be met on a daily basis, within a 5 day a work schedule or overtime if needed during busy times.
Pay Rate - $18-20/hour based on exerience
