Our small business print shop is looking to add a reliable, hard working human to our team! This part-time position is great for someone who is mechanically-minded, and who also enjoys being surrounded by fun artwork.
To preface, we would like to emphasize that we’re definitely a fast-paced business which may not be a good fit for everyone, please let us know if you have experience in that kind of environment! Must be able to consistently lift up to 35 lbs and is comfortable with being on your feet. This job is great for someone who is a naturally speedy person
The position is for 3 days a week (Monday - Wednesday) at 8 hours a shift. Our business features flexible start hours between 8am to 9:30 am. Please read on to learn more about our business, and other details about the position.
The team you will be working with is 8 people in size, and the whole team (includes remote folks) altogether is 19 people. Our shop is located in the Brooklyn neighborhood, right off the Orange max line. There is also ample parking in a parking lot for those who drive.
The position entails joining a team of folks who do a shared rotation of the tasks below. Please note you will learn the following tasks and will be trained on how to do them:
running and and troubleshooting vinyl cutters in the shop
using a large format laminator to laminate the product
breaking down the cut-out product
re-stocking boxes of product
Taking out trash/sweeping
We process so much wonderful and beautiful artwork every day!
