Tillmann Law is a personal injury law firm in downtown Portland seeking a full-time Paralegal to join our team. We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Primary duties include:
Managing incoming calls;
Potential client intake screening;
Creating and maintaining client files;
Assisting with medical record retrieval, review, organization and production;
Drafting demands and legal pleadings;
Scheduling and calendaring.
Qualifications:
Prior experience with personal injury cases (but we will train the right candidate);
Strong phone and customer service skills;
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team;
Excellent time management and organizational skills;
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and File Vine;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Knowledge of the liability insurance claims and litigation process a plus;
Strong Organizational Skills;
Team player with the ability to follow up on tasks;
Spanish speaker a plus.
