We seek a dedicated individual to join our embroidery department at our established, family-owned company. The Embroidery Technician plays a crucial role in creating the personalized details that make each of our varsity jackets unique and special to their owners.
Settlemier's Jackets has crafted premium varsity-style lettermen jackets in Portland for over 70 years. Our reputation for excellence extends worldwide, with our embroidery work being a key component of our jackets' distinctive appearance and quality.
As an Embroidery Technician, you will work closely with our Technician Lead and Production Lead to meet daily production targets.
Your responsibilities will include operating embroidery machinery, maintaining workflow efficiency, and ensuring the highest quality standards in every piece you produce.
The position requires attention to detail, the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and a commitment to maintaining our high standards of craftsmanship. While prior embroidery experience is beneficial, we will provide comprehensive training to the right candidate.
Key responsibilities include:
Operating and monitoring embroidery equipment
Executing detailed embroidery designs according to customer specifications
Maintaining smooth workflow and meeting production goals
Quality checking all completed work
Collaborating with other departments to ensure timely completion of orders
