WAREHOUSE - INVENTORY CONTROL SPECIALIST

SUMMARY:
Provide material support in a Lean Manufacturing environment by monitoring inventory accuracy. Assures daily resolution of errors identified by cycle counts and ensures timely and accurate completion of count journals.
SHIFTS: Monday - Thursday 2 pm -12:30 am
PAY: $21/hr
DUTIES:
Maintains the daily cycle count program, requiring inventory count accuracy and timeliness.
Administer transaction corrections, inventory adjustments, and negative balance adjustments.
Liaise with the Manufacturing department to troubleshoot and rectify problems arising from inventory transaction errors.
Perform cycle counts as needed to resolve discrepancies.
Updates cycle reports and documentation
Train employees on cycle counts.
Participate in annual inventory audits
Support continuous improvement.
Assist disposition of end-of-life inventory.
Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor
EXPERIENCE NEEDED:
Minimum 1-year related experience in material handling, cycle counting, or inventory control preferred.
Ability to understand part numbering.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel & ERP knowledge
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
