Beautiful Laurel Parc at Bethany Villageseeks a caring and engaging Full time Activities Coordinator to keep our residents active and regularly participating in an array of activities. Our ideal candidate is upbeat and has the ability to motivate, inspire, and spark creativity within our upscale and caring community.
Schedule - May chooseSunday -Thursday 9am - 5pm or Saturday - Wednesday 9am - 5pm.
$500 Sign on; $200 at 30 days & $300 at 90 days.
Responsibilities
-Develop activities, events & programs which exercise the body and mind for our residents
-Maintain contact and positive relationships with resources such as volunteers, contractors and vendors (teachers, speakers, group leaders, etc.)
-Create readable and compelling monthly newsletter and calendar of events for residents and MC department.
-Stay current of research and best practices in senior care as it relates to activities and services.
Qualifications
-One year experience in senior living activities or with the senior population is a requirement of this position
-One yearexperience withevaluating, planning and developing initiatives for a wellness or activities program is preferred.
-Must be able to work a flexible schedule, which may include evenings, weekends and holidays.
-Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and other applicable software
