Office Assistant

My Tax Man, an individual and small business income tax preparation office, is looking to hire a seasonal office assistant. Our company is well-established, and has been a part of the local community for more than seventy years. The hours for this position vary from 20-40 hours per week (occasionally overtime, if desired), and the position lasts through April 15th.

Responsibilities:

- Assembling client packets

- Scanning

- Filing

- Greeting clients in our office

- Answering phones, taking messages

- Scheduling appointments

- Other similar duties, as needed

Requirements for the applicant:

- Relevant office experience

- Competency with computers and basic office software in a Microsoft environment

- Punctuality

- Attention to accuracy and detail

- Professional telephone etiquette

- Ability to work independently

- Good customer service skills

- Must be able to pass background check
