CCS is an iconic brand in skateboarding and street inspired fashion and one of the largest and fastest growing action sports ecommerce companies in the United States. We sell skateboards, shoes and apparel from hundreds of brands including Nike, Santa Cruz, Adidas and Thrasher as well as our own CCS branded products. CCS has 50+ employees and is headquartered in Portland, OR.
We are hiring a customer service representative to assist customers with online orders. While the customer isn’t always right (who is), your job is to assume that they are and advocate for them. The goal is to ensure that all our customers have an awesome experience with us.
This is a fulltime, in-person position, Monday - Friday. We are located at 5909 NE 80th Avenue, Portland, OR 97218.
Job details
Respond to customer questions about their orders, returns, and product questions. The vast majority of customer support is provided over email with occasional needs for phone support.
Assist customers when there are order exceptions such as backordered products or questions about billing information.
Research customer service issues and work with our operations team to resolve them as quickly as possible.
Help us identify opportunities to improve the customer experience.
Miscellaneous projects and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Excellent written communication and typing skills.
Patient, good natured, and a problem solver.
Empathetic; you must be able to put yourself in other people’s shoes and see things from their perspective.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.
Skateboarding or clothing knowledge is a plus but not required as most customer service issues involve order management and not product information.
Compensation and Perks
$18.50 - $21.00/hr
