We have an opening for a Store Manager at our future Powell’s Books Kiosk at the beautiful Portland International Airport. The Kiosk is slated to open in late summer.
The Store Manager will further the Company’s vision at PDX by implementing strategies and initiatives that strengthen our reputation as an amazing and fiercely independent bookselling institution. Millions of travelers will move through the airport each year, and we need a Manager to foster a culture of passionate booksellers, ensure long-term growth and profit, and respond quickly to changing needs. This is a great opportunity to be part of our renewed Powell's presence at PDX and to a new chapter of ambassadorship with the city and with those who pass through.
The schedule is still to-be-determined, but will include at least one weekend day. Hours of Kiosk operation are seven days a week from 5am - 1pm. When you apply, please specify your availability.
