Objective – Sales Associate:
The Sales Associate position supports the Sales Manager in producing new client leads and getting the company name into as many places as possible. This position is responsible for maximizing our sales potential, crafting sales plans and justifying those to other business plans. This position is not a high-pressure position. No prior experience is needed. There is company paid training and continued development.

Basic Microsoft Office knowledge (Excel and Word are used to create invoices and work orders)
Job Responsibilities (Primary):
Finding and closing sales opportunities
Dropping off mailers and business cards to potential customers (cold calling)
Creating quotes and work orders
Answering and following customer inquiries/quotes from the phone or web
Manage and report the sales performance during the financial meeting
Execute the sales process until the transfer to the operational team for execution of the service
Job Responsibilities (Secondary):
Requires a satisfactory working knowledge in all major areas of building cleaning, including restroom sanitation, office cleaning, carpet care, hard floor care, equipment operation and maintenance, chemical knowledge, MSDS and safety.
May be required to attend scheduled training sessions conducted by the General Manager, Sales Manager and/or Human Resources Generalist.
Travel in the local area is required. Transportation to work sites is provided by company vehicle. Employee must have reliable transportation to the office. Travel outside of the local area may be required.
Ability to fill out clear, legible written reports, quality control inspections, Purchase Order requests, employee evaluations, inventory reports and other forms as needed.
Expertise in communicating complex tasks in a simple format to front line employees and site supervisors.
Ability to read, write and possibly type forms, directions, emails and other communications.
Ability to read, comprehend, and implement the Scope of Work for a contract and communicate that knowledge to Site Supervisor and workers.
Other duties as directed by the General Manager or President/Owner.
