Edward Wadsworth for Hair is hiring! Opened in March of 1975, Edward Wadsworth has been serving the health and beauty needs of the greater Portland area for more than 49 years. We are currently seeking a customer-oriented team member to provide front desk support to our stylists and Salon Guests.
Duties Include:
Greeting and welcoming guests upon entry
Answering phones and taking messages
Replying to emails
Assisting stylists with scheduling
Handling payments and refunds
Tidying and organizing desk and reception areas and the Salon
Closing the register and locking up the salon
Preferred Experience/Qualifications:
Must love people and be capable of multitasking in a busy environment. Punctuality for shifts also required.
Salon experience not necessary as long as you have a desire and ability to learn the culture and software (Meevo and SalonClouds+).
Office/reception work preferred; customer service experience also great.
Ability to be flexible and occasionally switch shifts with other front desk staff preferred. (Freelancers, students, and retirees encouraged to apply!)
Position Details:
Currently seeking to fill 3–5 shifts per week for a total of 20–25 hours. Availability for morning and evenings and weekend shifts preferred, but long-term schedule will be flexible.
Rate starts at $16.50+/hour with raises based on performance.
