Bullseye is seeking a full-time, day shift Tekta Production person who will flex between working in a foundry setting producing large format art sheet glass and using their attention to detail in quality checking the final product. You’ll be part of a 5-person team that makes large-scale glass sheets used in the art and architecture market. That means you’ll help transfer molten glass from a furnace to a rolling mill, via a wheeled ladle, producing sheets your team will load into a giant cooling oven known as a lehr. When quality checking the sheets, you will use both automated and hand-held glass cutters to trim the glass. Additionally, having a good eye for detail and color is essential when grading the glass for distribution.
Preferred candidates will have experience in an industrial environment and/or restaurant experience as a cook. Previous foundry and quality control experience is a plus. Construction experience is helpful to build large scale crates for shipping.
