Full Time Maintenance Position / Live Where You Work

A well maintained 170 unit apartment community in Beaverton is looking for a full time maintenance person.

The maintenance person shall be responsible, under the supervision of the on-site manager(s), maintenance supervisor and management company, for all phases of the operations of the property, including but not limited to, the general maintenance of the property.

Compensation includes a rent credit of $1,575.00 for a 2-bedroom 1-bath apartment and an additional salary of $1,850.00. Full time position for 40 hours a week.

Preferred skills

1-3 years maintenance experience

Job Description

The following jobs are part of the maintenance job description, however this description does not cover all items that may arise and is subject to change.

Curb Appeal: Picking up trash, blowing parking lots, shoveling snow, weed killing, maintaining trash areas, tagging non-compliance autos, laundry room maintenance, remove cobs from buildings and repairing exterior lighting

Apartment Turnovers: Prepping apt for painting/cleaning, installing verticals, hanging Closet/Interior Doors and exterior, cleaning globes/face-plates, drywall repairs, replacing screens, repairing and/or replacing appliances

Maintenance Requests:

Repairing and/or replacing all indoor and some outdoor aspects of a home

Fans, water heaters, faucets, cabinets, Doorsinterior & exterior, appliances, electrical, plumbing,

Ventilation, Locks, Weather stripping, etc.

General:

Maintaining the shop and rake room, ordering supplies, off property errands to pick up supplies &

Maintaining maintenance records.

Skills required

Minimum of high school diploma/GED

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Be able to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing

Ability to adhere to fair housing laws

Enjoy working with others

Must be able to push/pull 70lbs

Must have own tools

Valid Driver's License
