Industrial Painter
Job Description:
The Industrial Painter is responsible for performing a variety of skilled painting and allied trades
including surface preparation, mixing matching, tinting, coatings, sandblasting, pressure washing
and abatement of hazardous materials. Additionally, they are responsible for applying a variety of
painting industry products to surfaces, including large industrial structures, using a wider variety of
materials and techniques.
Duties and Responsibilities:
٭ Prepares surfaces to receive coating by sanding, masking, and cleaning.
٭ Properly load parts on racks in order to achieve desired finishing results. Properly identify and tag parts.
٭ Assist sandblasting operations
٭ Operate forklift and blast recovery equipment.
٭ Proficiently apply liquid coatings to steel products SSPC standards
٭ Ensure the flow of Work Orders is maintained as directed by following schedule and proper staging of jobs.
٭ Complete assigned work within given timeframe and according to written specifications.
٭ Assist in maintenance, cleaning and repair of equipment as assigned.
٭ Keep all work areas including the staging area clean and organized, emptying scrap and as necessary.
٭ Produce quality work in a safe and efficient manner with minimal supervision.
Qualifications and Experience:
٭ Required: at least 3 years’ industrial painting experience
٭ Pre-employment drug screen required

Shift: Day & Swing Shift
Scheduled Hours: 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. (Day shift), 2:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. (Swing shift)
Overtime: As required
Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour DOE
