We are seeking a solar installer to join our team.
The ideal candidate should have the following:
Solar experience is preferred.
Minimum of 2 years in construction/skilled trade.
Experience working with basic hand and power tools.
Must be comfortable climbing a ladder.
Roofing experience is a plus.
Must be comfortable working on various roof heights and pitches and comfortable with wearing safety harness.
Must be able to perform essential job functions: climb, bend, repetitive motion.
Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
Must be able to be outside in extreme weather conditions.
OSHA 10 a plus
Oregon License with clean driving record required.
Ability to pass a background check.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, professional, team-oriented, and hard-working individual to join our team. Must be able to work independently and be reliable. Must be able to manage time effectively to meet deadlines. Must have transportation. Most projects require direct reporting.
Most of our projects are in the Portland Metro area, but some require travel and overnights. Hotel accommodation and meal allowance will be paid on overnight projects.
Base pay will be $20 -27 depending on experience. Additional (discretionary) project bonuses of $50-$300 depending on project size. The higher end of pay scale is for a minimum of 2 years solar experience. More than 5 years of solar install experience and clean driving record, pay will jump up to $35 per hour.
