My Fit Foods is a healthy meal prep company on a mission to help people get fit, live fit. We are ramping up our delivery operations in the Portland market and are looking for someone who can help us manage our current volume and grow into anticipated larger-scale delivery operations.
Join our team as a Delivery Operations Lead, where you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of our delivery operations. This role is ideal for a dependable professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses excellent time management skills, and demonstrates leadership without needing a formal leadership title. We are specifically looking for someone who has OnFleet software experience.
Key Responsibilities
Routing: Utilize Onfleet to create and optimize delivery routes based on driver availability, order timelines, and route size.
Order Packing: Accurately and efficiently pack meals, ensuring all customer orders are fulfilled precisely.
Coordination: Communicate effectively with the 5-10 employee on staff to coordinate shift start times, shift durations, order packing, and order deliveries.
Problem-Solving: Collaborate with kitchen, retail, and customer service teams to troubleshoot and resolve challenges promptly.
Delivering: Balance administrative tasks (15-20 hours/week) with driving delivery routes (20+ hours/week).
Skills and Experience
Technical Proficiency: Ability to quickly learn platforms such as Onfleet, Shopify, Shipstation, and Google Suite. Familiarity with Onfleet is highly preferred.
Time Management: Exceptional ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adjust to changing demands.
Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to maintain clear communication across multiple teams.
Work Ethic: Dependable, detail-oriented, and proud of delivering high-quality results.
