Position Summary
The Tasting Room Associate is a part-time position with potential for full-time for the right person. Tasting Room Associates are responsible for providing an exceptional visitor experience that drives customer loyalty. The right candidate will be sociable, good at selling, enjoy educating, telling a good story and love wine. Duties include but not limited to presenting our wines, communicating the winery story and message, stock inventory, set up/clean up, sales, calling customers, as well as providing customers with recommendations. Schedule will be 3-4days per week and may include one weekend day with potential for full time employment for the right person.
The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements
Prior tasting room experience a plus but not necessary
Hospitality and/or restaurant experience a plus
Passion for wine and food
Social and well dressed
Able to work weekends and evenings as needed
Able to lift 50# and stand for extended periods of time
Valid Driver’s License
Legal status to work in US
Pass a drug screening
