Local company seeking an Accounting Assistant for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable
Daily posting and coding of Accounts Payable invoices
Follow up with Operations for missing packing list
Weekly check run preparation
Communicate with vendor on billing issues
Accounts Receivable
Daily posting of customer payments
Daily banking
Follow up with customers on billing issues
Collections of past due accounts
Other Duties
Back up order entry desk
Filing of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
Other duties as assigned
Must have intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word skills and have the ability to work independently.
