Minimum Qualifications:
● Is a practicing Christian, participating in a local church
● Has a certificate or prior experience related to assisting in a classroom (preferred)
● Is familiar with age-appropriate learning and development
● Is well-organized and dependable
● Communicates effectively and fosters positive relationships with children, parents, and
staff
● Demonstrates characteristics that lead to good rapport with children
● Has a clear Central Background Registry (CBR) background check
● Meets all requirements for Oregon Childcare Aide I or Aide II
● Must sign a statement of faith
