Minimum Qualifications:
Is a practicing Christian, participating in a local church
● Must sign a Statement of Faith and Christian lifestyle Covenant
● Has a certificate or prior experience teaching in Early Education
● Must meet all the Oregon requirements for a Child Care Teacher
● Is familiar with Oregon Early Learning & Kindergarten Guidelines
● Documents student progress in alignment with Oregon Guidelines
● Communicates effectively with parents through PraxiSchool and Brightwheel
● Fosters positive relationships with children, parents, and staff
● Demonstrates characteristics that lead to good rapport with children
● Has a clear Central Background Registry (CBR) background check
● Is well-organized and dependable
● Requires attendance at school events such as evening programs, field trips, PTC
meetings
