The Original Pancake House is hiring bussers at our North Salem Location located at 4685 Portland RD NE
As a Busser you will work in a team-oriented, high-volume, fast-paced environment to deliver customers an outstanding dining experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Be groomed and dressed to uniform standards each shift
-Work well with other restaurant employees to present an enjoyable dining experience for customers
-Memorize all of the table numbers and server sections
-Assist dining room staff with clearing dirty tables
-Assist with sanitation
-Respectful behavior towards management, fellow employees and customers
-Follow health and safety procedures to be laid out by management, city, state and federal requirements
-Perform any other job duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:
-Reliable attendance
-Ability to work weekends and holidays
-Ability to work and maintain a flexible schedule based on restaurant needs
-Able to arrive to work on time, ready to start a scheduled shift
-Ability to speak, read, comprehend instructions as well as converse comfortably in English is necessary to perform the job; a knowledge of Spanish is helpful
-Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and co-workers
-Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times
-Able to bend, reach, stoop, twist, stand and walk for prolonged periods of time
-Ability to carry 20 lbs., removing chairs, moving tables and highchairs throughout the shift
-Have or can obtain a valid food handler’s card
CURRENT HOURS OF OPERATION:
Open Monday-Friday 7:00am-1:00pm, Saturdays and Sundays 7:00am-2:00pm, closed on Christmas Day and Thanksgiving only.
