ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Greets, sets up tables, takes food and drink orders from restaurant customers, serves the orders, accommodates special needs/requests, anticipates customers’ needs, pre-busses tables, cleans and prepares tables for the next customer.
Writes customer orders following established procedures and legibly documenting all required information as the customer’s order is taken and processed.
Remains attentive to the customers throughout the entire dining experience, adhering to or exceeding service standards as established by the restaurant at all times.
Completes all restocking and cleaning duties by performing opening and closing side work as instructed.
Memorizes menu items in order to answer questions and make recommendations to customers.
Maintains cleanliness standards in the restaurant, server line and coffee station areas in order to have a clean, presentable, attractive facility and to satisfy state and local health board requirements.
Receives proper payment from customer and ensures accuracy of the customer check and method of payment. Closes all customer checks in a timely manner.
HOURS OF OPERATION:
Open Monday-Friday 7:00am-1:00pm, Saturday-Sunday 7:00am-2:00pm, closed on Christmas Day and Thanksgiving only.
SCHEDULE:
Must be willing to work weekends and holidays and be willing to be flexible with days and hours that are scheduled.
