Job brief
Donatello’s Pizza is looking for an ambitious prep cook to assist in the preparation of a variety of different sizes of pizzas. You’ll perform routine kitchen tasks such as saucing and cheesing all pizzas, prepping different products according to demands needed daily. Making all orders when they are placed to company standards.
A great prep cook will be quick and diligent and willing to improve on the job. You must follow instructions as well as all health and safety rules in the kitchen. The ideal candidate will also be able to function in a fast-paced, busy environment with little direction.
Responsibilities
Cleaning off a variety of pizza skins daily.
Applying sauce and cheese to a large quantity of pizzas to company standards daily.
Preparing veggies and certain meats needed for the entire day.
Maintaining and monitoring inventory levels of products on hand.
Assisting manager in making customer orders as needed.
Taking an occasional delivery when needed.
Ability to get all work done within time permitted.
Clean work area in detail before leaving.
Requirements
Valid food handler’s card or ability to obtain one within 30 days.
Must be able to work Wednesday through Sunday 9:00AM-5:00PM. Job will be 35-40 hours a week.
Be willing to stay late when asked.
Knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen
Being reliable and flexible with scheduling demands and needs.
Need to be able to start right away.
