We are currently looking for a Diesel Mechanic to join our team. We offer health care benefits, and paid holidays. Wages are commensurate to knowledge and experience. The position is full time (40 Hrs.) with overtime available as needed. We are an equal opportunity employer.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Diagnosis and repair diesel powered systems to include: Brakes - air & hydraulic, fuel, engine, trans, cooling, electrical etc.
Identifies and repairs any additional maintenance and/or repairs needed.
Record time spent, parts used, and repairs and/or maintenance for appropriate form.
Perform road calls and on the road repairs as assigned.
Maintain a safe, clean, productive, and efficient work area.
Qualifications:
Experience in working with Diesel Trucks or a 2-year equivalent of schooling is desirable.
CDL is desirable but not required
ASE is desirable but not required
Pass a drug screening and back ground check
Ability to use good judgement and decision- making skills
Possess minimum hand tools required as a diesel mechanic.
Diagnosis, electrical and A/C Skill are a must.
Technical knowledge of major vehicle systems and diesel equipment is required.
Ability to use scan tool equipment to diagnose and repair.
