Local Salem Manufacturing Company, with its own product line, has on immediate opening for a permanent Machine Shop Helper.
Entry Level Position; duties will be to support current production requirements, primarily cutting, drilling and clean-up.
This is a support position that will interact with the lead personnel in the various departments to support production of the product line.
It may require operating some CNC machines occasionally to support production.
Basic understanding of tape measures and calipers required. Working understanding of micrometers preferred.
Applicant must be capable of working independently using fixtures and prints while holding the required tolerances without immediate supervision.
The current opening is for either a full time and/or part time position. This is a permanent in-house position with full benefits.
Pay will be competitive, with full benefits, DOE.
