You may be a fit for PCL’s STC position. Successful STCs will demonstrate excellent leadership/management skills while leading a team of DSPs who provide services in the homes of people experiencing intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, and potentially co-occurring mental illness. In this position, you get to take the unique gifts, preferences, and needs of each person you support as a guide to how to walk in partnership with the person toward a life of opportunity, well-being, freedom, and contribution. You will be a role model, mentor, and ambassador to the team members you work with and people you support. You will get to support people in leading self-directed lives while they participate in their communities.

Compensation and Benefits:

Annualized salary of $48,000. Salary payments are made bi-weekly ($1,846.15) every other Friday (approx $4,000/month).

Retirement, PTO, Medical, Dental, Vision and Life for Full Time employees (Defined as 30 hours a week or above).

Type of Position:

Full-time, salary exempt.

Includes being a part of an on-call rotation, some evenings and weekends are required.

Position Requirements:

-Education Requirements: High school diploma/GED required, Associate’s degree preferred.

-Experience Requirements: Two years of supervisory experience required. May substitute one year in the field of I/DD or Associate’s degree for one year of supervisory experience.

-Must be at least 18 years old.

-Possess a valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record (min of 6 months driving experience).

-Be able to regularly lift a minimum of 50lbs.

-Pass a State/Federal criminal history check (fingerprints may be required).

-Willing to submit to a pre-employment drug screening for illegal substances in Oregon.

-Be able to be certified and maintain an acceptable level of certification in Oregon Intervention System (OIS).

-Be able to be certified and maintain certification in CPR/First aid.

-Pass a pre-employment computer skills assessment.

-Attend a two week in-person paid orientation in Monmouth, Oregon.

Additional Skills and Abilities:

-Ability to multitask and define priority with scheduled duties.

-Extraordinary interpersonal communication skills and ability to empathize with people experiencing challenges.

-Developed ability to remain organized, attentive to detail, and understanding of professionally ethics.

-Sound understanding of mental health diagnosis, support modalities, and co-occurring disorders.

-Effectively able to utilize computer and assistive technologies as required by the position standard.

-Understand and implement principles of the Oregon Intervention System (including use of Protective Physical Intervention).
