C&R Real Estate Services is seeking a Storage Facility Assistant Manager for a lovely 450-unit storage facility in Salem, OR – www.22storage.com. The Storage Facility Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day management of this specific property including marketing, maintaining property integrity, collecting rents, serving notices, developing reports, and preparing agreements, selling merchandise and leasing U-Haul trucks.

Responsibilities:

• Tour available units

• Prepare rental contracts

• Respond to all customer needs and concerns in a timely manner

• Complete a traffic log and conduct follow-up calls

• Collect rental payments and make deposits

• Track and follow up on late rental payments

• Assist with the development and implementation of marketing campaigns and strategies

• Inspect the property and all amenities daily

• Develop positive relationship with property owner and Storage Facility Property Manager, providing strong customer service, and promote renter relations through organizing parties and activities when appropriate.

• Additional responsibilities will be provided to meet the needs of the property

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Previous Customer Service experience is required.

• Previous storage facility management experience is preferred.

• Previous U-Haul experience is preferred.

• Must have proven history of providing top notch customer service

• Computer proficient and able to learn new company software

• Knowledge of basic maintenance, painting, landscaping, and cleaning techniques including product use.

• Good verbal and written communication skills, strong active listening skills, and ability to understand and meet the needs of residents.

• Must be able to balance many tasks and be highly organized with acute attention to detail.

• Working outdoors in all the various elements is required.

• Possess current and valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and clean driving record

Your workdays will be Wednesday through Saturday with office hours to be determined. You will be considered a full-time employee working 32 hours a week. As a full-time employee at C&R, you will be eligible for medical benefits first day of the month following 60 days of continuous employment, PTO, paid holidays and more!
