We are looking for a full-time employee who is enthusiastic, dedicated, and career minded. Position is available immediately. Previous experience in optical, healthcare and/or insurance is desired but we provide on the job training.
We are a primary care optometric practice in Silverton. We provide our patients with top quality health care and exceptional customer service and have a 40 year history of continuing growth.
An Ideal candidate will have superb customer service and communication skills, be detail oriented and highly organized. Excellent computer skills are a must to use our fully integrated electronic medical records system.
Job Responsibilities include:
-Greeting patients
-Answering phones and directing calls
-Scheduling and confirming patient appointments
-Scheduling referral appointments to and from our office
-Checking patients in and out of the office
-Insurance verification
-Taking patient payments and answering basic billing questions
-Basic cleaning/disinfection of office common spaces
-Basic optical dispensary duties; repairing, adjusting and cleaning glasses, dispensing glasses and contact lenses
-Back-up Technician duties: escort patients thru office, basic patient pretesting, reset exam rooms between patients
-The option of training to become an Optician in the future

Full Time, scheduled Monday thru Friday.
