We are seeking a skilled and dependable Medical Transport Driver to join our team for our swing shift position. You will be responsible for transporting patients to and from medical facilities, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the journey.
Responsibilities:
Transport passengers to and from medical facilities, including hospitals, clinics, and doctor's offices.
Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers throughout the journey, including assisting with mobility and positioning.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, and follow the most efficient routes to reach the destination.
Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle, and perform routine pre and post trip inspections
Document all pick-up and drop-off times, as well as any special instructions from medical personnel.
Communicate effectively with passengers, medical personnel, and other team members to ensure seamless transport services.
Requirements:
Valid driver's license and a clean minimum driving record of 5 years
Familiarity with the local area and surrounding regions is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and caring demeanor.
Position is training during day shift 2-4 weeks 8:00am - 5:00PM, before transfer to swing.
Ability to lift and move patients, as well as medical equipment, as needed.
Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR is preferred, training will be provided if needed.
