Driver to deliver crops to market such as hauling wheat to Portland or The Dalles for delivery as well as grapes and hazelnuts. Also will be driving various farm trucks to deliver fertilizer and other supplies around the farm, and to remove crops during harvest. Other activities may include maintaining gravel roadways around the property, and hauling wood, steal, or other unwanted items away from the farm.
Driving farm equipment during busy times such as harvest and tillage season.
Maintaining and servicing Trucks and trailers. (oil changes, fixing lights, wiring etc.)
Looking for self-sufficient individual that works well with the rest of the team.
Work week will be 40-50 hours per week with the possibility of longer hours during peak season as needed. Pay is DOE. During off season times schedule has more flexibility.
Job will likely be about 1/3 truck driving, 1/3 tractor and equipment operating, and 1/3 general farm projects and maintenance.
