Industrial Machine Operator

Description:Willamette Falls Paper Mill is located right on the Willamette River and has been in operation since around 1890. They produce large quantities of different paper products like coated and uncoated blank paper rolls and envelopes used by printing companies. Right now they need entry-level machine operators to join their team. Operators will learn how to monitor and operate various large industrial cutting, rolling, coating, and sealing machines. They will start in the department closest to the finished product and as they improve, they will learn machines located closer to the raw material. Must be comfortable in a loud and dirty manufacturing environment. Monitor, operate and troubleshoot machinery and equipment in a smooth and efficient manner. Good communication skills to provide and exchange job-related information with co-workers in a way that facilitates problem solving and decision making. Operate mobile equipment and cranes. Work constructively in a team environment.
