You will verify digital hardware for a military or commercial applications.
You will review requirements for a new digital hardware design using enterprise tools such as Jama Connect.
You will create a test approach, outline, and description for hardware level verification in Microsoft Word.
You will perform dry-runs and run-for-score on hardware test procedures and present hardware verification approach to the certification authority.
You will support the electrical engineering team with various projects.
What You Will Learn:
You will gain knowledge of aircraft vision systems including video display and camera systems.
You will gain knowledge of the avionics certification process for commercial and military applications.
You will receive daily mentoring from electrical engineers designing avionics.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.

Qualifications We Prefer:
Have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
Currently enrolled at an accredited university majoring in electrical engineering or computer engineering.
Enrolled in the Oregon MECOP program.
Located or willing to locate to the Portland metro area.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
