Siemens EDA has an opportunity for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to be part of the Build and Infrastructure Group for their flagship Calibre product. The group works on multiple areas of the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) including Source code management, building CI/CD pipelines, developing, and supporting infrastructure on-prem and in the cloud, licensing, clearing OSS (Open-Source Software), build and release management.Responsibilities

Ensure that the Open-Source Software and 3rd Party Software needed for Software Releases are properly cleared, built, and documented.

Develop and enhance the 3rd Party software build and CI/CD system.

Participate in projects to improve the tools and development environments for R&D.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education and Experience:

BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience required.

Knowledge and experience with Build and CI/CD tools.

Experience with Linux operating systems strongly preferred.

Proficiency with Git preferred.

Proficiency with at least one scripting language (e.g., Bash, Python) preferred.

The candidate must exhibit a service-oriented attitude and be able to work effectively with a world-wide, multi-site development environment.

The candidate should have a strong desire for continuous improvement and have a passion for automation and making tasks repeatable.

This position requires the ability to complete assignments on schedule and present results.

This position requires excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills, as well as great attention to detail.

The ability to work constructively and productively on a team, as well as alone, is essential.

The candidate should be resourceful, self-motivated, and comfortable taking initiative when appropriate.

Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills are key attributes, including the ability to investigate, isolate and remedy software defects.

This position will be subject to U.S. export control requirements under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Employment is contingent on either verifying the U.S. Person status or obtaining any necessary export license.Siemens Software. Transform the EverydayThe salary range for this position is $82,900 to $149,200 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
