McCarthy Masonry and Concrete Inc. is taking applications for an experienced in house Construction Estimator at their Quakertown Location.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience/Bachelor's Degree.
Construction Estimator will have knowledge in the following:
Excellent blue print reading, design techniques, and principles in estimating
Must be able to determine the materials, methods, and tools involved with new construction or repair of structures.
Practical application of engineering science and technology - this includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of commercial, industrial, and heavy highway projects.
Understanding of contractual terms and conditions
Purchase orders/Subcontractor negotiations and vender relationships
Understanding and apply construction schedules
Excellent communication skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Suite
OSHA 30 preferred
Requires working indoors.
May require travel to job sites and/or working outdoors.
