We have an exciting opportunity for an Office Sales Assistant

Description:

Provides sales department administrative support through completion of the following duties and responsibilities.

Answers sales related questions from customers and individuals or directs them to the person able to assist them.

Accurately and timely enters sales quotes, purchase orders and customer orders into the computer system.

Efficiently handle customer proof of delivery requests, test report questions or requests, and other general sales related customer questions.

Completes various sales reports for sales management.

Accurately assists in the entering and auditing of sales quotes and customer orders for changes in order dates, product ordered, delivery dates, etc.

Completion of various clerical functions that include but are not limited to data entry, filing, faxing, email, distribution and collection of paperwork, maintenance of office machines, and miscellaneous sales correspondence.

Provide back-up to receptionist and call message center as required.

Requirements:

Good communication skills

Excellent attention to detail

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint

High School Diploma or GED and over 3 years experience in sales office or administrative duties.

Prior business office experience required.
